About
Sierra Hathorne is a SDA professionally certified educator who graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's degree in history and a minor in geography. She received her master's degree in education from Grand Canyon University. She has taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade for three years and been part of the AVAS family for nearly five years.
Fun Fact
I love living in the desert! Yes, even the days where it's hotter than 100! There is nothing better than watching the flowers bloom and the birds migrate during the spring.
Family & Pets
She is newly married to Mr. Dejuan, and we have a fish named Dory that also is a class pet during the school year. We are working on getting Dory some more fish friends.
